PDF Tools provides free, browser-based and server-assisted tools for processing PDF files including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, and protecting documents. The Service is provided free of charge with no account required.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Process files containing illegal content, malware, or intellectual property you do not own
- Attempt to overload, attack, or disrupt our servers (DoS/DDoS)
- Automate bulk requests in a manner that degrades service for other users
- Circumvent any technical limitations or security measures
- Upload files containing sensitive personal data of others without their consent
4. Your Files
You retain full ownership and responsibility for any files you process using the Service. By uploading a file to a server-side tool, you confirm you have the right to process that file. We do not claim any ownership over your files and delete them immediately after processing.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Results will meet your specific requirements
- All file formats will be supported perfectly
Always keep backups of important files before processing them.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Tools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss or file corruption.
7. Service Availability
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
